Why should I choose The Main Event?
Our photographers and staff are all professional, accommodating, helpful, punctual, and pleasant to work with. Our pictures are guaranteed for life to never fade. We own and operate all of our equipment, giving you the best value in the industry.
What experience does your staff have?
Our photographers are trained and go through strict apprenticeships under our more seasoned photographers before running a party themselves. Our assistants are also trained prior to all parties. Our staff's loyalty shows not only in their length of service with The Main Event, but also in the dedication they give to your guests on the day of your party.
What's the difference between Photo Favors and Photo Booths?
With Photo Favors, our skilled photographers take guests' photos in front of a backdrop, and then guests select a frame or favor for their photo.
In contrast, Photo Booths are high-tech machines that take your guests' photos, and then print them (usually) in photostrips.
Do my guests really receive unlimited photos?
Yes. All crews are sent with enough printers, paper, ink, and frames to meet the demands of even the busiest party.
How many times can my guests come up to take photos?
Your guests can come back for as many photos as they please!
Do I get a copy of all the pictures?
You will receive a CD copy of all the photos taken at the end of your event.
How do you ensure short lines?
Our crews are trained to keep the line moving and ensure your guests not only enjoy the photo favors, but also the rest of the party you have planned. We hear from our guests that lines are few and far between when using The Main Event!
How many prints per hour can you produce?
We are continually upgrading our equipment to increase printing speed. On average we print 85 pictures per hour, but depending on the size of your party and the amount of people in each photograph, we can produce over 100 pictures per hour. This is to accommodate larger group shots that come up.
How many printers do you bring?
Our crews are sent with 6 printers. We always set up a minimum of 4 printers with 2 as backups. For high volume parties, we would set up the 2 additional printers for a total of 6.
How many personnel do you send to each party?
This depends on your package and party size. Most parties need only 1 photographer and 2 assistants. If needed, we'll send a 3rd assistant to ensure prompt printing at large venues.
How much space do you need? Do you need tables?
We contact the catering manager at your venue the week prior to your event to confirm party specifications. Having already been to most venues in the tri-state area, we are well known and our staff has never had a problem securing the required tables and space.
